Thinking Baseball Privacy Policy

Thinking Baseball, Inc. (“us”; “we”; or “our”;) operates the http://thinkingbaseball.com website and the Thinking Baseball mobile application (the “Service”).

  • Team information: which team the player is on.
  • Assignment information: which assignments the user has; which assignments have been completed.

How information is collected:

  • Sign up information: Directly collected through the application or website account creation.
  • Quiz performance: Collected passively through use of the application.
  • Team information: Collected passively through use of the application.
  • Assignment information: Collected passively through use of the application.

How personal information is used:

  • Email is used as an identifier for the user (e.g. in the place of a username).
  • Name is used to display in the application.
  • Performance information is displayed to the user.
  • Performance information may also be used to monitor the health of the application and improve the quality of the application.

Disclosure of personal information:

  • Information is disclosed to Amazon Web Services to support providing the Services.

We will not require a user to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the Services. Parent or legal guardians can agree to the collection and use of their child’s information for the purposes of providing the Services and not allow disclosure to third parties where that disclosure if not required to deliver the Services.

Parent or legal guardians can review or change information they provided when registering for the Services, including a users personal information. In addition, at any time, users may contact us to request that we provide for their review, or delete from our records, any personally identifiable information they have provided about users associated with their account, or to cease collecting personally identifiable information from those users, as applicable. Please keep in mind that request to delete personally identifiable information may lead to cancelation of your Account.

When we change or delete any personally identifiable information at your request, we will make good faith efforts to make the changes in our then active databases as soon as reasonably practicable.

Log Data

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device (“Log Data”).
